AcademyCyprus is a group of individuals who are eager to learn the self-defense art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
Allow us to clarify one thing at the very beginning. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is a trade mark of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy at Torrance, California and only thought by Certified Training Centers listed on their website gracieacademy.com (with the exception of some Gracie Family members, their notable students and affiliations). Unfortunately AcademyCyprus is not one of them. We are an official Gracie Garage listed in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy website gracieuniversity.com. Main purpose of a Gracie Garage is to give you opportunity to practice Gracie Jiu-Jitsu with more partners with different levels of experience in a controlled environment. We are located in Famagusta city of Northern Cyprus. Our main training facility is in Lala Mustapha Pasha Sports Center of Eastern Mediterranean University. You can visit us anytime during sessions. Please contact us for any inquiries for further details.

AcademyCyprus is not an expert on Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and is not a Gracie Academy Certified Training Center and none of the AcademyCyprus member has a Gracie Academy Instructor Certification. Our aim is provide basic knowledge that we gather from various resources to our local members and visitors as a brief summary especially in their native language.
